Relaxed Documentary Wedding Photography In Oundle

Wedding Preparations

Veronica and Toby couldn't have picked a more beautiful day to get married in the pretty market town of Oundle,  which is located just 12 miles south west of Peterborough. I started the day with Toby and the boys as they got ready and then took a short walk through town to St Peter's Church where the ceremony was taking place.

Champagne and Canapés

After a lovely ceremony Veronica and Toby headed over to Cloisters for their drinks reception where they were joined by their wedding guests and enjoyed beautiful canapés and champagne in the courtyard.  The wedding reception was only a short walk away and was held at Oundle School. The marquee on the lawn was beautifully decorated with colourful lanterns and flags as Veronica wanted to give a little nod to her South American roots and culture.

Family and friends travelled from all over the UK and South America to celebrate with Veronica and Toby.  A very big thank you to all the staff who worked so hard to make the day run so smoothly.

Here are a few of my favourites from the day, enjoy!

Natural, Relaxed Wedding Photography At Langar Hall

Melanie and Daniel chose to get married at Langar Hall which is located in the vale of Belvoir. I always look forward to shooting at this wonderful wedding venue. The 19th century manor is set in lush gardens and is quirky, fun and full of character and is perfect for an intimate wedding.

I began the day with Melanie and the girls at Langar Hall for their bridal preparations. The morning was very relaxed and the girls enjoyed a glass of champagne or two while they opened gifts and cards. The ceremony was held at St Mary the Virgin Church in nearby Plumtree.

Family and friends travelled from all corners of the globe & celebrated with Melanie and Daniel until the early hours.

Thank you to all the staff at Langar Hall who made Melanie & Daniel's wedding day so special.

Melanie & Daniel enjoyed their honeymoon in Crete.

What a fantastic day and it was so lovely to be part of their special day, here are a few of my favourites from the wedding.

Swancar Farm Wedding Photographer | Emma & Paul

Swancar Farm Wedding Photography

Emma and Paul's wedding at Swancar Farm was my last wedding of the year and one that I had been looking forward to since they booked me earlier in the year. It isn't my first time as a Swancar Farm wedding photographer and hopefully I will shoot many more at this wonderful wedding venue.

It was a cold, crisp December morning and I started the day with Paul and the boys as they got ready in the bridal suite at Swancar Farm. The entire day was held at the venue. The long drive approaching Country house is a backdrop that everybody loves. Emma and the girls got ready at her home which is a short drive away. Emma looked stunning in her beautiful Jenni Packham dress (which I get asked about quite often)

Wedding Ceremony In the Barn

Emma and Paul had their beautiful intimate wedding ceremony in the Gallery which is situated in the upper part of the Barn. After such a lovely ceremony everybody headed downstairs to the Lower Barn which features beamed ceilings and a beautiful stone floor to enjoy reception drinks and canapes among family and friends.

The wedding breakfast and evening reception was held in the stunning Oak Hall. The wedding speeches were hilarious and Emma's dads speech was very moving. It was a wonderful day and I enjoyed every minute of it. Swancar Farm is a fabulous wedding venue to celebrate a marriage and I hope to return there very soon.

Family and friends travelled from all over the UK and further to celebrate . A big thank you to all the staff for their amazing hospitality and for making the day run smoothly.

Here are a few of my favourites from the day, enjoy!
