Wedding Photography At Yeldersley Hall
Welcome to the fabulous wedding of Amy and Brad who had a beautiful summers day wedding at Yeldersley Hall in Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District national park. I really enjoy a fun-filled wedding and Amy and Brad’s certainly provided lots of laughs as well as high emotion.
Bridal Preparations
Amy and her bridesmaids got ready in the immaculate bridal suite at the hall, helped by Chelcie Florence Studios who did both hair and make up. The groom and his best men stayed at the lodge which was the former guesthouse.
The bride, her mum and bridesmaids were all very excited, as were the guests and although it rain briefly, this certainly didn’t dampen spirits.
Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony and speeches were filled with emotion and it was clear to see the love between Amy and Brad.
Wedding breakfast
Guests enjoyed a wedding breakfast provided by Olive Pot catering and in the evening, they were treated to wood- fired pizzas from the converted Land Rover of the Rustic Crust. These pizzas were to die for - absolutely delicious and highly recommended.
Evening Entertainment
The fun and laughter carried on with all partying the night away to singer Abigail Wilkinson.

Wedding Photography at Harlaxton Manor
Harlaxton Manor provided the perfect setting for the beautiful wedding of Amy and Josh. The autumnal weather gave me ideal natural light to play with on the day and resulted in some amazing shots. We were very lucky with the warm weather on this beautiful October day. The wedding ceremony was held at St Mary & St Peters Church in Harlaxton, on the edge of the Vale of Belvoir in Lincolnshire. The ironstone and limestone church is a Grade 1 listed building with parts dating back to the 12th century.
Favourite Venue
After the ceremony, the newly-weds, bridal party and many guests made their way to Harlaxton Manor. This is one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph. The architecture and grounds are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop. The approach to Harlaxton is truly breathtaking - a straight, mile long drive across an ornate lakeside bridge, and under a gatehouse towards the spectacular manor house. The views from here over the Vale of Belvoir are magnificent.
Wedding Dress
Bride Amy and her bridesmaids certainly complimented the beautiful surroundings. The bride wore an exquisite off-the-shoulder gown designed by Maggie Sottero while her four bridesmaids looked simply elegant in pastel pink. Make-up was done by the wonderfully talented Ali Gunn who I have had the pleasure of working alongside on many occasions. The bride’s sophisticated chignon hairstyle was created by Chelsey Holland.
Wedding Breakfast
The wedding meal provided at Harlaxton was, as always, of an exceptionally high standard, beautifully presented, and a real treat for the taste buds. The manor strives to use fresh local produce wherever possible and every need is catered for. After the brilliant wedding speeches it was of course time to party. The high-spirited guests certainly let their hair down. The evening was fun-filled and lively, enjoyed by all, and exactly as a great wedding should be.

Wedding Photography At Norwood Park
It was lovely to spend a wonderful day with Hana and Steve shooting their wedding in October. The venue is one of my favourites and it is no surprise that Norwood Park located in Southwell, Nottinghamshire is regarded as one of the most sought after wedding venues in the East Midlands. Norwood was built in the 18th century and has been home to the Starkey family for nearly 150 years.
Relaxed Bridal Preparations
My job as a wedding photographer doesn’t get any better than this. Norwood Park is just beautiful, especially in the autumn. I started the day shooting Hana and the girls as they got ready at her parents house with a very relaxed atmosphere before we headed out to Norwood Park where the ceremony and reception were taking place. It was lovely to spend a relaxing morning with the girls as they got ready for the wedding.
Ceremony & Wedding Vows
The ceremony and wedding vows were taken in the drawing room which is located at the rear of this beautiful country house. The speeches, wedding breakfast and the evening reception all took place in the gallery, and a good time was had by all.
