Norwood Park Wedding Photography | Hana & Steve

Wedding Photography At Norwood Park

It was lovely to spend a wonderful day with Hana and Steve shooting their wedding in October. The venue is one of my favourites and it is no surprise that Norwood Park located in Southwell, Nottinghamshire is regarded as one of the most sought after wedding venues in the East Midlands. Norwood was built in the 18th century and has been home to the Starkey family for nearly 150 years.

Relaxed Bridal Preparations

My job as a wedding photographer doesn’t get any better than this. Norwood Park is just beautiful, especially in the autumn. I started the day shooting Hana and the girls as they got ready at her parents house with a very relaxed atmosphere before we headed out to Norwood Park where the ceremony and reception were taking place. It was lovely to spend a relaxing morning with the girls as they got ready for the wedding.

Ceremony & Wedding Vows

The ceremony and wedding vows were taken in the drawing room which is located at the rear of this beautiful country house. The speeches, wedding breakfast and the evening reception all took place in the gallery, and a good time was had by all.

Thank you so much for choosing me as your Norwood Park wedding photographer - it was such a pleasure to be part of your day.

Wedding Photography at the Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel

Welcome to the Davis wedding!

I didn’t have far to travel for Sarah and Andrew’s wedding at the Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel in Southwell. This venue is indeed small but perfectly formed and is ideal for intimate weddings of up to 50-60 guests.

I arrived as Sarah was being pampered by the very talented make -up artist Ali Gunn and hairstylist Helen Sutcliffe, before completing her look with a Morilee wedding dress from La Belle Boutique and Jimmy Choo shoes, stunning!

As the weather was hot and sunny, the ceremony was held in the garden. The bandstand was beautifully decorated with flowers by the Flower Barn. The cheeky young bridesmaids (two of which are Sarah & Andy’s daughters) certainly kept everyone entertained. Not to miss out on the fun was Sarah & Andy’s son who made a very smart page boy just a few days short of his first birthday. It’s safe to say a great time was had by all, and as the party eventually moved in doors, the fun continued into the night.

Muchas Gracias

Thoresby Hall Wedding | Rebecca & Joshua

Thoresby Hall Wedding

Wedding Photography At Thoresby Hall

The rustic charm of Thoresby Riding Hall provided the perfect backdrop for Rebecca and Joshua’s wedding. The isn’t the first time i’ve hopped up to Thoresby as a Nottingham wedding photographer. This Victorian Riding Hall is nestled in north Nottinghamshire.

Both bridal and groom preparations took place separately in the nearby Sherwood Hideaway lodges. I met Rebecca and Joshua in the heart of Sherwood Forest. Rebecca and Joshua had hired out two of the lodges and had spent a few days here relaxing with the family and dogs before the big day.

Here, Rebecca was joined by her bridesmaids. I really like the deep colour tones of their dresses and flowers. This colour scheme continued in the venue and was perfectly complimented by the rustic, stripped back elegance of Thoresby. Here we had large airy spaces, soaring ceilings, exposed brickwork and brick arch features to work with. A perfect place for individual style.

Enjoy the photos!
